Mid-sized wood-fired side-handle teapot. Made from coarse, iron-rich stoneware, the body is sculpted with a tree bark texture. The heavy reduction firing has deeply scorched the surface, highlighting the rugged, organic ridges of the clay. Left unglazed, the piece relies on the interaction between the intense kiln atmosphere and the raw, mineral-heavy material.
This pot is part of the "Gem of the Kiln" series—a selection reserved for the few exceptional pieces that emerge from each firing.
