Wood-fired Shiboridashi with three matching cups.
 
The Shiboridashi is made from raw stoneware and left unglazed, showing the intense, dark marks of a heavy reduction firing.The accompanying cups are finished with a white interior for a clean contrast, while the exteriors are coated in "Black Magda" slip glaze. The wood-fire interacts with the dark slip to create a deep, metallic-toned surface that complements the bare clay character of the Shibo.
